The Shorewood-Troy Public Library provides programming to patrons of all ages as an integral part of our services. Programs consistent with the library's message are developed to respond to community interest. 

If you are interested in presenting a program at the library, please review the information below, and submit your proposal. You will be contacted if the library is interested in pursuing your program.

Please note: Due to building and staff limitations, community interest, and cost, the library cannot accommodate or respond to every program proposal. No phone inquiries.


  • Scheduling timeline and publicity
    • Programs are generally scheduled 6 months in advance
    • Program information may appear on the library's website, newsletter, social media platforms, and flyers
    • Any additional promotion must be handled by the presenter
  • Program Restrictions
    • No solicitation or exchange of money or goods may be handled on library premises
    • No attendance fee may be charged
  • Room Restrictions
    • No candles or open flames
    • Use of tobacco products and consumption of alcoholic beverages is not permitted
    • Nails, thumbtacks, or other fasteners may not be used to attach anything to the walls or furniture

Presentation of a program at the Shorewood-Troy Public Library shall not, in any way, constitute an endorsement of the group, its policies, or activities.
