If you or someone you know would benefit from our home delivery service, please contact the library by phone or email. You may also fill out our application form and return it to the library. Our Outreach Librarian will set up an initial consultation to discuss the delivery service.

Need books for your classroom assignments? We are happy to find the materials you need. Simply fill out our book request form to get started.Our book request forms are designed to help you obtain the resources you need to enhance your students' learning. Whether it be a classroom set of novels, customized bibliography, reference books, etc., we can help! We can drop the books off and pick them up, or put them aside at the library for you to pick up. It's as simple as that.
Our Teen Outreach Librarian visits four schools on a regular basis, including:
- Minooka Community High School
- Minooka Junior High
- Troy Middle School
- Joliet West High School
In addition to the community visits, the library offers a Young Adult Book Club for Grades 7-12, along with Teen Advisory Board monthly planning meetings, a monthly craft and other tween/teen programming. Check the calendar for full details.

Teachers can also get a library card if they live or work in the Shorewood-Troy library district. This card will allow you to get extended checkouts on materials for classroom use. You will need your teacher ID to apply. Contact the outreach librarian for more information.
