“The public library is where place and possibility meet.” – Stuart Dybek
Become a Friend of the Library and help turn possibility into reality!
The Friends of the Library is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds to supplement the library’s annual budget for materials, programs, and literacy initiatives in the local community. Yes, the library is tax-funded, but it can always use a little help from its Friends!
Our Mission
We are volunteers who love the library. We enjoy camaraderie, create an enjoyable atmosphere for our “Fun-Raising” and welcome all volunteers. We support library staff and patrons through our time, talents, and philanthropy efforts.
More than anything, we have FUN and love the library!
